Shipping Policy
Return Policy for In Store Purchases and Special Orders
You have 30 days to return an item to receive a refund (Calculated from date of purchase). Roundtrip shipping costs and a 25% restocking fee are deducted from the refund, which will be the price of purchase. Please note, the shipping cost will be charged in the case of a return regardless of whether or not you were originally charged for shipping.
Returned items cannot be resold to online customers, as they appear to have been opened or used. As such, they are usually donated to charity.
We cannot guarantee delivery times or dates, including weekend or night deliveries.
Items not purchased from us cannot be assembled by our delivery team.
To begin the process of returning an order:
• You must send an email to nearmebathandvanity@gmail.com containing your name, order number, and reason for the return.
• You will receive an email with return confirmation if your request is confirmed.
• Returns cannot be processed over the phone.
• All sales are final for clearance items. No returns may be made on items listed for clearance.
All made-to order products are non-returnable, and orders placed for these products cannot be canceled.
Cancellation Policy
Any orders can be cancelled within 24 hours with no charge to the customer. We cannot allow orders to be cancelled after 24 hours because orders are immediately submitted to our warehouse or the manufacturer's warehouse when the customer places them. Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with details of the order. This email must be reviewed by the customer to ensure everything is correct.
To cancel an order:
• Send an email to nearmebathandvanity@gmail.com including your name, order number, and reason for cancellation.
• If your cancellation is approved, you will receive an email confirming your cancellation request.
• Cancellations cannot be processed over the phone.
• Orders which are being held for layaway orders, delayed delivery, and special orders cannot be cancelled after 12 hours from purchase.
• Customers who cancel an order after the 24 hour window are subject to the Return Policy.
Cancellations are not executed until Nearmé Bath & Vanity confirms an order has not been processed or shipped. Provided Nearmé Bath & Vanity confirms an order has been cancelled credit will be issued to the original form of payment.
Custom and built-to-order items are not eligible for cancellation. The item specific return policy applies to any cancellation request that cannot be executed.
Certain brands and products are non-returnable, and orders placed for these items cannot be cancelled after 24 hours. Please refer to Brand/Manufacturers’ policies. All made-to order products are non-returnable, and orders placed for these products cannot be canceled.
Orders Which Do Not Fit
Items which are sent back to the warehouse because they do not fit are subject to the return policy. Objects which do not fit in a doorway may be disassembled and reassembled. If this is the case, you may accept the delivery and you will be responsible for the contact for an assembly technician at your own cost.
Preparing for Delivery
Before your delivery, make sure to take the following precautions:
• Prepare the room by making sure adequate space is available for the installation team
• Remove furniture and other items which may be in the way
• Remove shelves and other objects from the wall which may be loose or knocked down
Customers who place an order with Nearmebathandvanity.com online, on the phone, via fax or email are in agreement with our terms and conditions as listed on our website.
Shipping
Large package deliveries are made Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. A delivery agent will call to schedule delivery. A responsible party at least 18 years of age must be present to take delivery and sign for the shipment.
Large package deliveries require a signature for the merchandise. Customers must inspect the delivery carton for visible damage. If the carton has visible damage or there is any reason for concern with the packaging or product condition "product damaged" must be written on the face of the delivery receipt. Customers that sign for delivery and do not notate "damage" assume responsibility if merchandise is damaged. Review the Damaged Merchandise section.
Nearmé Bath & Vanity is not responsible for shipping delays due to the fault of the manufacturer or delivery carrier.
Refused Delivery
DO NOT refuse delivery under any circumstances. Refused deliveries are processed as returns, even in cases of damage. Returns are subject to our return policy (25% restocking fee plus the cost of round-trip shipping.) Do NOT refuse delivery even if it arrives damaged. More often than not, if there is any damage -- it will usually be one or two items on the shipment that are damaged, and not the entire shipment. For example, if you ordered a vanity and a countertop, the countertop may be damaged but the vanity intact. Either way you must accept delivery and provide us photos of the items that we need to replace. Anything sent back to the warehouse will delay your replacement, and will be subject to our return policy regardless of condition.
Customer MUST ensure that delivery personnel notate damage to packaging or products at the point of delivery on the delivery paperwork and retain such documents. Failure to do so will be interpreted as delivered with no damage. Copy of this paperwork will be needed for correspondence with Nearmé Bath & Vanities and our Brand partners and affiliates.
Customers are responsible for all costs driven by a refused delivery for product not damaged.
Large Package Delivery Items
Furniture and other large items require additional shipping time, and usually arrive within approximately 1-2 weeks. We will automatically send out orders on a first come first serve basis. If you need us to delay shipment, you must call us and make arrangements the day of the purchase. Once you are ready to schedule your delivery, our delivery company will give you a call. We cannot guarantee exact delivery days and times. Our delivery partners only deliver to driveway. Please make arrangements for getting the delivered items into your property.
Many products are ready to ship within two days of order placement, others are manufactured when an order is placed, see product pages for specific details. In the case that your order is delayed or on backorder, we will notify you as soon as we can and do everything in our power to make sure your order gets to you as quickly as we can. In the case of a backorder, the purchaser has the full right to cancel the order. As we have no insight into inventory levels of our third-party brands, we cannot always know if an item has been sold out and has become backordered.
Additional Info
Rural delivery is available to properties with a physical address, but may be subject to additional delivery charges, even if the product is listed as “free delivery”. Nearmé Bath and Vanity may give the option to the purchaser to pay the delivery surcharge or cancel the order for a full refund. We cannot deliver to P.O. Box locations, jobsites, or military APO/FPO addresses.
